Weystadt is the capital of the Kingdom of Weymarck (Koenigreich Weymarck), a 312-square-kilometre sovereign state between Austrian Tyrol and Bavarian Germany.

Location

Weystadt lies in the eastern Karwendel massif, east of the Scharnitz Pass (Scharnitzpass) on the upper Isar. Scharnitz (Tyrol) lies immediately south of the pass; Mittenwald (Bavaria) immediately north. The Seefelder Sattel (1,185 m) carries B 177 and the Mittenwald Railway (E 533) toward Innsbruck.
